... t get me wrong, many French people were helpful and we did try our best with a few French words, but there were some arrogant French people in a Paris. ... as we can hear it clearly from our room. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and now the Dining Guide has already paid for itself. Everyone is World Cup mad here - even in the restaurant they had a massive screen which looked rather out of place in what would otherwise be a nice intimate area. 7:15am. We've finally arrived in London today after a very long night aboard Air Canada to Heathrow. Once we arrived at the airport, we took a train to Paddington Station; the view from the train to Paddington wasn't very nice since it was mostly run down or abandoned buildings.
