    ... 2 weeks but the authoroties were very prompt with keeping us informed.

    Champ was left in the good care of our friends in Auckland to await pick-up and the start of her long voyage.

    ... had! Once we arrived in the airport we had to go through passport checks. There was one queue for EU passports and one for all other passports. Of course the line for the EU passports was huge from the whole plane and our line had no one in it.... Yey!!     ... poppies on long metal stems, all around the castle. It looks incredible. This is one thing we have noticed, and not sure what they are doing back home, but poppy badges, lapel pins etc have been on sale for weeks here, and most people are wearing them.
    Into the castle, and we are told to go straight to the crown jewels "before it gets busy". This turns out to be great advice as we only have to wait 10 minutes ...
