This place is Byron all over- chilled out and relaxed! It's a little out of the main town but there's a bus which runs regularly from 7.30am-4am! We stayed in our camper in the hostel car park which was quite expensive $15/$16 pppn but is the only place in Byron which is fairly central and you can stay indefinitely. All the staff are nice, its clean and they have some cool activities like an open mic night, yoga, bush walking.

We arrived in Byron around mid day. The town looks pretty cool. A lot of cool shops, surfers brands and cafés etc. Byron Bay is very strict on camping in car parks and on the road and this was the first time we saw signs actually forbidding it so decided not to risk it and booked to park a couple of nights at the art factory lodge. It's a …

We were so happy to be back at our favourite place in all of Australia, Byron Bay! We love its chilled out, hippy vibe and have loved staying here for the past month!

We spent a month hanging out and being very very relaxed- its the only way to be in Byron! We spent our days at the beach, by the pool and exploring Byron. The shops here …

If you have read yesterday's post you may guess that we woke up feeling pretty ropey. For me it's more tired, Jane however was really struggling as usual. Nothing a bit of surfing couldn't sort out. Hannah and Pete were on our lesson today too. The group split into two and me and Jane were now in the pro group. We got straight into the water and …

In Deutschland müssen …

So there is speculation that the name of the quaint costal town of Byron was named after the famous poet laureate. Though that is a nice tribute, it is I fact named after, the then secretary, Sir Byron. When cook first spotted the shoreline, through the passage he landed, and did what the British were oh so very good at, hoisted a big flag, …
