... a swim
before lunch back at the Caravan Park. After the 1hr swim we went for a walk along the beach and then a dusk drive along the town common.

For dinner we went to the Cowboys Leagues club where we were just in ime for the Townsville
Crocks to hit us up for raffle tickets ( we didn't win anything so I assume it was rigged). I had a great seafood Plate and Michelle had Barrumundi.

... Indian born couple who have lived in various parts of the world but now reside in Kansas City, US - Lolitia (sp??) and Ramesh !! The second couple are a French couple from Noumea - Claude and Monique – both couples were lovely and we talked until we were one of the last tables in the dining room ! Claude is very funny and had us in stitches.

... about for a couple of hours, the waves were gentle and because it was later on in the afternoon and the beach was surrounded by cliffs, the sun had almost disappeared. We dried and headed back with plenty of time before our ferry was due, we had ordered a taxi but as there was only 2 running on the entire Island that day we hopped on a bus instead.
