After touching down in Athens and some issues we faced with navigating to the hotel we ventured out for some food with gyros and souvlaki on the menu. After that we wandered the streets through the plaka district, up to the arch of Hadrian and down to get some gelato and then back to the hostel to chill out for a little bit. ... lunch we were pretty wrecked from the day and the walking so we went back to the hotel to cool off for a while and rest. We decided to get up and grab dinner. We tried a grocery store and he only option was a ****** sandwich that was pretty pricy so we defaulted back to the falafel place and it was pretty fabulous. Our guide picks us up and we’re remarkably awake. Just as well as we visit the Aswan dam followed by the Philea temple which is on an island.
