... The kids did really well and were mostly quite interested in the art. Some of it was rather abstract. Some a bit more in your face. The UK exhibition featured bums with cigarettes poking out which was of a lot of interest to the kids! There were some trees with the roots and earth exposed which were awesome and the kids were fascinated. They went right up to them and got ...

... 5-8: It was time to move farther north to Genoa. The train ride took approx for 1.5 hrs passing through once again the villages of Cinque Terre and the scenic Ligurian coast. It was her first time travelling alone. They were both in the same position as us. They had first class tickets without reservations. The journey was normal with small talk between us girls and occasionally with the other two ladies. The other elderly lady could only speak German ...

... Again, I spent most of the trip reading, looking out the window and listening to music. About halfway through the journey I was looking up directions from the station to the hotel and my phone froze, so I tried to reboot it and it wouldn't start. Now it seems to be completely dead, which is... quite a big problem actually. I've relied on the phone for looking up things while on the move as well as finding my way with Google Maps and the GPS. It's been charging since I got to ...
