    The girl's trip begins today! Both of us up early (Michelle at 3:30am - eek, and Sherry at 5:30am), showered packed and ready to go at 7:20am.

    Here comes the first glitch... even though I had emailed our taxi driver with Michelle's hotel address he only paid attention to the 'Novotel' bit and started heading into the city. I was onto it quickly though and we got there only about 5mins later than anticipated.

    ... now and then I went back to my room, but still no bag. Then the ship left and was able to take some nice pics of leaving Venice.
    I was on first dinner sitting, but had to ask them to serve me. I think because I was sitting alone in my allocated seat, they thought I was waiting for someone.
