A basic hostel but has lots of character, ideal for a short stay before and after your tour. The bar is lively with great food available too.

    Fun Hostel for meeting people

A great hostel for meeting people and having a good night out in the bar. It's mainly full of people going on the tour to the Red Centre so lots of people know each other. The rooms could do with freshening up abit but the toilets and showers were clean enough. Not far from the centre of Alice, about 10 min walk.

cosy place to stay at when in AS

Annies place is a nice place, though it can get a bit loud at night since they have their own bar (even live music!!). Nicely decorated and very colourful. Town Centre in walking distance, though it feels quite far, probably because of the heat. The staff is really friendly. Would love to have gone on the Mulgas Tour (Uluru and Kata-Tjuta) they offer, but they didn't leave the day I needed to, so I went with "the Rock Tour" which is also highly recommendable. Spacious and clean rooms and ensuites. Would stay there again if I ever go back to Alice Springs.

Potentially one of the best things we've done in Australia, the Red centre tour took us out into the heart of Australia's outback. The three day tour included kings canyon, kata Tjuta and lastly Uluru. The five of us; Samantha, Tom, Paula, Sam and I, boarded our 2.5 hour flight to Alice on the Tuesday to give us a day to check out Alice Springs …

Hello from the middle of nowhere!!!
We finally left the comforts of Wade and Patsy's house after spending a brilliant month with them. Wade kindly dropped us at the airport and the adventure started again!
The flight to Alice springs was one of the better ones, Rachel got some sleep and didn't freak out as much as usual. This was helped …

We've left the unpredictable English weather of Melbourne and touched down in the dry, 40 degree heat of Alice Springs! We feel like we've found the real Australia now. It's hot. It's sandy. And it's got signs of the Aborigini every where. We're staying at Annie's place for one night before we start a tour which we haven't really looked much into …
