The hostel is okay. Seeing it is the cheapest option its great.
All the basics. On the first night we has problems with power but that seems to only be in one room. They moved us to another room which was good. all in all its okay.

This hostel is nice and clean, they do charge 40nok per person for linens in addition to the room rate. All the rooms have kitchenettes but there are no dishes. You must borrow dishes for 3 hours with a 100nok deposit. I think a communal kitchen works better. Other than that a pretty standard hostel.

I heard it was kinda bad place to be but when I got there it wasn't too bad kinda pricy but other then that it was alright. I don't know if I would really recommend it but I would't be opposed to going there again.

29 April 2014: Today was another long travel day, but the journey was spectacular. The first leg was a ride on the ferry from Gudvangen to Flam through Naeroyfjord. All of our travel to Oslo had been previously arranged, so the process was quite simple. From the cabin, we walked down to the small port and waited in line for the ferry, which …

          The Flight to Oslo

... hours. I arrived to the airport, no problem and way on time. In fact, I was at the hotel so early (I was there before 5 A.M., around 4:30 to be exact) that none of the airplane check in stands were open, nor were any of the airport services active. At first I began to worry about whether or not I was going to be able to get my tickets in time since no one was around, but I found an automated Lufthansa check in machine ...

          Back in Norway again!

... Boy, what four months living here and another semester of Norwegian language can do to help boost my confidence. :o) These past two days in Oslo have been truly wonderful, in more ways just than the weather (it's been glorious blue skies with temps around 75-80)! In a way, it's like coming home for me-I know my way around these streets, my favorite coffee places, my favorite places to visit. And being here with Claudia just enhances the ...
