... to the birthday party upon arrival at the lake last Saturday, and despite the fact that most of the activities were in Hungarian we still had fun. We thought we had a fighting chance at charades, but even that is played differently. Nevertheless, I managed to guess "butter" and Zack got "gypsey" so on some level we were able to participate. We lazed at the beach all afternoon. Of course there was no sand so
we lay on the grass. Totes better than rocks. It was the first time I've
ever had to pay for a beach. The idea of privately owned beaches is
just so repulsive to New Zealanders, but when in Europe one must do as

When we were finished Alex came running towards me and Dad and didn't see the big thick metal wire in front of him. He got clothes-lined bad. The wire hit him square on the jaw and knocked him on to the ground. Ouch.
