    Nothing more, nothing less. Clean and friendly staff. Rooms were tidy en sufficient for sleep-over.

    ... day that we would enter Queenstown as with the sun setting and our bed finding timeframe up against the clock we decided to give one of the DOC (Department of Conservation) campsites a go for a night seeing as it would be cheaper than central Queenstown.

    After our long drive yesterday we opted for a day without too much driving. There was a beautifully clear blue sky and we guessed the views would be good up on the Skyline Gondola, which goes up to Bobs Peak, so we aimed for there. It was great fun riding up to the top and we had fantastic views of Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables and Queenstown.     ... if not a little windy. Whilst Alastair went off to luge around the track, Josie and I grabbed a coffee. Upon his return we headed to the station to catch the gondola back down.
