... an hour and a half when I could just keep that day free if the lifeguards needed me. But I couldn't say no when they asked me. Work was long and boring, it's actually hideous. It's so much worse than working in Auckland, the people aren't as fun and it's inside so no sun tanning time. In a way it's better because everyone has to pull their weight and do their share of the cleaning jobs and be back from breaks on time etc but I guess that's what I liked ...
... it was rather fun. It took me back to home economic classes at school with Mrs Reynolds aka ANDREW. We were so cruel to her but she did teach me everything I now know about the basics of cooking. I'll never forget the time I blew the oven up and almost burnt the whole school down and for the next 3 weeks she had me do the theory side of things to "be on the safe side". We were convinced she was a transvestite as she was tall and lanky, with a low voice, ...
... inside and looking out the window and seeing the snowy mountains and half depleted snowmen outside. My lessons commenced and they went pretty well. It's breast stroke this week and probably the stroke I can teach best. Although I'm a perfectionist when it comes to it I am nevertheless patient with those who struggle to turn their toes out. I want them to just be able to do it properly. After two hours of teaching I cleared up and headed for home. ...
