... just in time, within 30mins we were heading towards the airfield. They took to the skys but the weather was not suitable so they had to return after 40mins airtime and just 3000 feet.

Back in Queenstown we settled in to the campsite dined and headed to town. - Becky on the look out for a swimwear for tomorrows trip.

On the road in NZ

... br>Another day of lethargy followed as we were all steaming. The next morning feeling somewhat lazy I got up for a run, yes, a run! On said run I booked us to do the Nevis Bungy that afternoon. The Nevis 134m high and rather than jumping from a platform you are in a cable car suspended over a valley, did I **** myself, you bet I did. We did the bungy and it's a helluva rush but not a patch on a skydive, however, the ear shattering scream that Kelly shot out was ...

Still not finished this entry!

... to get there! We stopped off in the town of the superloos for a much appreciated Indian and early night before heading back for the second time to the town of rotten eggs – Rotorua! Luckily with the drop in temperature and anticipation of the smell it actually wasn’t as bad as I rmembered! We had to stop off on the way into the town for a quick go on the gondola and then tried our hand at a spot of lugeing back down the hill! Mucho fun! I got back ...

... they were eating their boil in the bag noodles LOL. I think it was at that moment that they decided to not speak to us! we were having too much fun! The evening ended with bottles of wine, drinking games and a game of poker which was brill. Friday was Brookes b'day... skiing was amazing as it had dumped it down over night and there was fresh powder everywhere which me and Petch seemed to get stuck in every second- was lioterally up to our waists- totally knackering to ...

The Journey into Middle Earth..yep were that cool!

... taking photos with all the ice sculptures, the oh so flirty barman (who turned out to be all talk no game and so got rinced) called us over for our shots. These we had to do out of the luge, the bit of plastic tubing that the put through the ice sculpture to allow you to take the shot. So yer we all looked really cool, (note to self flavored Vodka is minging!)

Considerably drunker we stumbled back to Buffalo bar before the 241 deal finished and spent the rest of the night ...

... thrown into full swing over the next two days. Anyway - more importantly - Lake Matheson is a great little lake which affords views of Mount Cook - both real and reflected in the lakes crystal clear, still waters. The walk around the lake is great. There's some cloud cover and a couple of quite annoying ducks are causing unwanted ripples in the water - so its only very pretty today as opposed to spectacularly so. The road to out stop off continues through ...

OMG!!!!!!!!! I LOVE TRAVELING!

Dunedin was so great. I could've stayed there another week, But the hills there were killing my car, so I went Southbound to Invercargill. It seemed like a pretty nice place. Had some good shops, well spread out, great pool, and easy enough to get around. After 2 days I was so bored. There was nothing to do except go swimming at Splash Palace, and walk around town. So I high-tailed it outta there on a Friday, and drove to Queenstown!!! It was such a nice day to. Once I got ...

Me and Terri went out on the night and had mucho things to drink, went back to the World Bar and had my first ever teapot and then my second, no doubt they were the beginning of many to come. 22nd June After waking up and realising that I didn't have a hangover I got ready and headed out, after a brisk walk around the block to wake me up I headed for ...

... Hannah's visit and skiing with her in Queenstown was great. Her, Daniel and Alije and Nathan were the only friends from Europe to make it down here. Respect!

We've had some good pre-season fun discovering an old gold mining village with Sarit and Sumeshni's 4x4, fording the Arrow River over 30 times and climbing Ben Lomond (1950 m) which is twice as high as the "original" in Scotland as well as going on a (sadly ******) Lord of the Rings Safari to the sights of ...
