After our visit to Athlone, we drove from Athlone to Dublin, took the car ferry to Holyhead (in Wales) and drove to Liverpool. We had a much better return journey than the outward journey - no bad weather to slow us down!

Standing in the pit watching the play and just thinking of all the history and consequence of that spot really was stop-in-my-tracks-moment #3. :). I couldn't help but think of you MRS. BARRETT JOHNSON and wish I could have shared that moment with you. DAY 4: I Had to Look it up ...

We were up and at 'em pretty early today, as Bob, Josh and I had 10:30 tickets for the London Eye, and it takes an hour to get there. Michael took us to to the train station, where delays forced us to initiate a different route and then walk hurriedly to get there on time, but we made it! The 443 foot tall London Eye provides a fabulous all around view of London. Although I am fearful of heights, and previously chose not to go up when we were here with Will in ...
