The art of not getting lost

A travel blog entry by michaeljay on Jan 16, 2015

The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square is one of the few National Galleries in the world that is still free to enter, and once entered is an art lovers haven. One can just wander from room to room, all clearly numbered and in a sequence that makes far more sense that any of the huge galleries already explored on this trip, or one can get a map which will set one back 1. A travel blog entry by rebecca.taylor on Sep 14, 2014

Katie and I met up with Aileen in Islington to catch the train out to Hackney Central to catch the Samba Carnival- it was pretty excellent- there were bright costumes, loud music and dancing everywhere! We then went out to Brixton to the White Horse for amazing burgers and a few drinks- this is apparently the best place for trawling for men. Definitely on the list for the future.

Then it was time for the gym... and sadly almost Monday again.

      Today I was going home.
To the lovely Tim and Chris.
When I set out from Scotland all those months ago, I had this wonderful plan that I would go from visiting Katie to seeing friends in Newcastle, the Lake District and York and then slowly make my way back to London. ...
