      ... the Shard, City Hall...and how the skyline has changed even in the two years since we last visited. The Shard was nearing completion, and some of the new buildings over by the Gherkin weren't even there! There in no fooling around - it would take years to build something that amazing in Halifax.       ... No stalls to buy last minute tri gear or bikes if they didn't arrive, there was nothing. We then wandered along to the Westin Hotel where the Brownlees are staying and checked out the team notice board . We didn't spot them having their breakfast.
