    Upon our arrival in the coastal Austrian town of Rovinj, the owner of our apartment accommodation picked us up from the bus station. This was the start of the kindness we were shown by him and his wife. Our apartment was small, but big enough for the three of us with a washing machine the nice woman helped us turn on (it was fairly confusing), and a kitchen where we made dinner one night.
