First day of many

Well, we are here at last. We landed just after sunrise today and checked into our hostel, Alfred Park Budget Accommodation. Good basic accommodation, we have a private en-suite room with a tv and fridge plus heating and aircon. It's the same accommodation that we have booked for Christmas and New Year. We arrived back in Sydney yesterday after travelling a total of 30,000 kilometres, some of which we did in the car and van we hired early on our visit to Australia, but most of which we have travelled in our own campervan. We are back for 12 nights in the Alfred Park accommodation where we started the Australian leg of our journey on 12th July. Just a one night stopover this time but we have made the most of it. We arrived early on 28th and travelled into the city to register once again at the Alfred Park Accommodation. It was nice to renew old aquaintances with the owners and staff. Flight to Sydney

I checked out of Frogshollow and caught the airport shuttle bus which I'd booked the day before through the hostel reception. This minibus takes passengers straight to the airport and cost about 9.50AUD for this journey. There was a huge queue at the domestic check-in desks and lots of people grumbled as we slowly made our way to the front. bin jetzt seit gestern in sydney... und seit gestern ist das wetter auch super hier.... 20 grad..oder auch mehr und gaaanz viel sonne... waehrend ihr bei nachtfrost in deutschland seit.
nach einem viel zu langem flug und ganz wenig schlaf bin ich um 8 morgens hier in sydney angekommen...

I made it to Sidney. Plane journey was fine watched lots more movies got some studying done and slept again for 5 hours. Getting through Sydney airport was fine too and i got a bus to my hostel which is a good hostel and i have made loads of friends already. Im so proud of myself i can t believe im actually doing this on my own and im fine.
