      The taxi came at 7.30 am so after a quick shower and dragging the kids out of bed, we got to Sydney International Airport by soon after 8 for our 10.00 am Qantas flight to Johannesburg. This flight goes for 14 and a half hours – the longest one I've been on – and when we got on the plane we still hadn’t eaten anything, so it was a bit annoying that they only served two meals, the first one not till 3 hours into the flight!       Very nice trip. The coolest thing about the flight was that there was a camera on the tail of the plane and you could watch the outside scenery while we were flying! We were met at the airport by two travel representatives and they helped us get to our gate for Cape Town. Only 2 more hours to go!! Dave still wishes he was at a Ravens ...

      ... our intention to camp there. The map first appeared to show the location of the campsite very clearly, but we missed somehow. So we continued driving east looking for a place to stay. At one point a campsite posted at the side of the street and so we followed its signs along shantytowns and lonely streets.
