    We kicked off with a bang, heading straight out the evening of the day we arrived, for a pre wedding dinner with the wedding couple (Brendan and Maria), and a few of their friends and family. Had a lovely dinner at the Wanderers Club but headed to bed early as the next day was the wedding and most guys were keen to keep their liver "clean" for the following day and nights shena****ns.     ... towards Johannesburg. Urban cities in the desert gave way to sand dunes in the desert, then Africa turned greener as we flew south - lakes and green swathes appeared, before giving way to the urban cities of South Africa.

    Eventually picked up by the hotel bus, and had time to freshen up before the 6pm team meeting at the hotel. The hotel itself is in a gated suburb - feels ...

    ... Bricks walls and a door that doesn't quite close. The household comprises of Cina, Thumelo, occasionally Thumelo's 2 year old son Lwaussi, Cina's second daughter Sibu and her 3 year old son Kathleho and 7 year old daughter Neo, Cina's orphaned nephew Nathy, Mzwaki who we would call a maid but she's more of a family member who cooks and cleans for Cina.     ... at the game, it was amazing, especially when Reid got the goal! Just amazing. After the game we had 2 hours till the bus was picking us up. Accross the road from the stadium at a guys house, he had turned his house into a pub, and for about $2 nz you got a Once were warriors size beer. It was awesome. They had bomb fires and all.
