Budva is a neat old town that is known to be Montenegro's busiest tourist destination. It is a walled town that has many nice restaurants and little cafes on the beach. There are beautiful stone archways in the walls surrounding the town that lead to these cafes, see the picture below! Lake Skadar National Park
... was dodgy.....
We decide to head on to Virpazar as recommended by the tourist lady so we board the bus. Rickety and hot is the best description. The ticket guy walks down and we purchase our tickets. After 30minutes the bus stops in the road and we have arrived. He then drives off and we look around. No sign, nothing. Just on the side of the road sandwiched between the cars and a railway line. ... over and show her my blond roots, point to them and say ˝black˝ in Serbian. She seems to understand okay and writes down a time for me to come back. I come back at the allotted time and she sits me down and walks out of the shop. She goes across the road to the supermarket and comes back with a box of black hair dye which she then proceeds to use to dye my roots. Objective achieved! And all that for 12 Euros!
