... I certainly cannot relate. There was one koala wedged into a tree, laying back and eating leaves continuously. A wife said to her husband, 'hey, that looks like you on the couch watching TV' - nice. We spent a good 4+ hours here in part as only three buses service the park daily. In the end, too much travel for the experience. The zoo would have been just as good and probably better. We made it home, grabbed some Subway sandwiches and watched the sixth Harry Potter movie in our ...

After nearly four months in Adelaide I set off with Abbie to make our way along the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne. We collected our little micra from Adelaide airport then began (with a lot of help from the sat nav.) Our first stop was Mount Gambier, 442km from Adelaide and our longest day driving. We drove trough beautiful hills, past huge vineyards and lots of dead kangaroos (I am yet to see one alive in the wild!) We found our accommodation for the night, a late ...

... and stacked a number of differently shaped and sized plant pots. Milton (Geoffs dad) and I moved a diced up tree into the fire wood pit, as well as feeding the local sheep, one of which we have named 'cow-face' for obvious reasons.

Also, we helped set free a kangaroo who trapped his leg in the fence, trying to jump over onto Geoff's farm.

However, whilst we genuinely have enjoyed our time here at Gooseberry Farm, with WWOOFing we ...

... the owner. After about 30 minutes a woman turned up who'd only come to sort out her office in the building. She rang the owner who said let us in and he'd be down soon. So we went back in our room, it hadn't been cleaned of our old sheets yet.
The owned turned up after a while and I paid for 2 nights.

Set off to go to Woolworths as we had no food. It was spitting with rain, which was very nice seeings as it was so hot and we were sill full of saltwater. Got our food ...
