So we are back home – still a little jet lagged but settled. The morning we left Paris there were some hassles – with Emirates/Flight Centre and then there were delays but we did manage a little sleep and several movies. However the real highlight was a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park in the hills to the south east of the city, where you can walk around with, pet and feed kangaroos, wallabies and koala bears amongst others. It was incredible to be able to get so close to all of these animals and amazing to have them come and eat out of your hand. ... of dirt roads over the whitish clayey underground that produces the worst dust imaginable. Forget about the red dust of north, this is worse!!

We leave Angorichina and head west through the Parachilna Gorge. One stop along the way for a geocache, and we reach the final 10km straight out of the ranges to Parachilna and the Prairie Hotel. The weather is so clear, that once on the flat and straight road, Parachilna is very visible and looks only a km or so away. ...

After a bit of a lie in and breakfast I headed out to the Central Market - on what was a very sunny day.

The indoor market was just wonderful, it was literally packed with food from all over the World. The smells were amazing with freshly baked bread and pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses, spices and much much more. Even a whole stall dedicated to mushrooms - good job a certain Ms Wheeler ...
