      ... rack or roasting pot. We improvised and used the rack for drying dishes to put on the cookie tray so the chicken wouldn't sit in the grease. The chicken fit surprisingly well. The bird went in the oven at 5. While it roasted we prepared mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, stuffed mushrooms and buns. I chatted with mom and Deagan for a bit waiting for supper to cook.
