    ... Cluj-Napoca is quite green and full of hills. We passed by some run down towns (some had a bunch of chairs amidst a field of tall grass – I assumed that to be the old station).

    We found a cheap hotel to stay near the train station since we are only staying a couple nights before moving on to Bucharest. I’m restless to go walking and exploring tomorrow after having sat on a train for 8-9 hours.

    I had Strapachka, a wonderful cheesy, yogurty, dumpling side dish and Christine has become addicted to Hungarian Goulash Beef soup, and either of them, despite being a starter and a side order, would have provided a good meal for two. We ended up taking home a doggy bag and eating it again the next day, it was so delicious!

    Go there soon before they knock over a candle and burn the place down.
