        We left Prague on a bus in the morning, with a lunch stop at Bratislava, Slovakia and then continued on to Budapest, where the Grand Circle River Boat "River Aria" was docked and waiting.         ... WE DONT LIKE QUEUE JUMPERS ESPECIALLY GERMANS !!! St Mathias church was amazing with every area of the walls and ceiling decorated and this one you could go up onto the balconys and look down, finally climbing up into the roof space ! Mind you it was a long way down via a spiral staircase that made you dizzy !!! Now the Hungarians like what I can only describe as stogy food - chunky sausages, ham hocks etc. now for lunch this is too much, to today ...

        ... chips ( thinly sliced -beef spicy sausage fried)with traditional dumplings and potato and salad. Very nice berry crumble for me and D had a creme anglaise and berry parfait .we tried 2 craft beers which were recommended by the waiter cum owner.Delightful young chap who deserves to do well.Locals there in happy groups all having a good time. Back to hotel..still 25+ degrees..thank goodness for AC here. Stu sent email saying Em was starting to labour...we will have another grand daughter ...

        ... for a decent price see a few exhibitions and a bit of Slovenian history. Being a weekend when we arrived, we also got to see lots of local markets, folk dancing, science exhibitions and more - it was very festive.
