... to MDW. Being difficult I say nothing but eventually MDW passes it to me to sign. We depart and spend 10 minutes talking to another unsatisfied couple out the front of the "No longer the best Fish & Chip shop in the UK" Whilst in Whitby we encountered the largest seagulls we have ever seen. Not only are the large, we think there are brown versions. Another thing they are is noisy during daylight hours. Daylight hours are still 5:30am till 9:30pm so we got an early wake up ...

Well that's it for Yorkshire. Will come back and do and see much more and walk the moors as they should be explored. Just stunning. Could quite happily have walked for hours taking in the scenery and the nature. Beautiful, just Love it.

chris and I are about to climb 199 steps to Whitby abbey.

... play and that changes the game a lot, the kids are learning that and it's all good experience. With the parents all doing rain dances as we really didn't want to go, we headed from there to Crook to play a "friendly" against the Pom adults. The rain cleared and the match went ahead, they were all in whites and taking it very seriously, our boys downed a few quick beers then wandered on out to bowl. A few of our dads are cricketers ...

... the kids with caps, a bag and even a medal so that was lovely. Jack made a good speech and presented their team with the kookaburra hats. It was a fun night, the adults had fun too but we won't go into that ;) Poor Johnno the bartender! Home to Robin Hoods Bay for us, big day 45 over match at Stockton tomorrow followed by a Aussie parents vs Crook parents game in the evening, lucky it doesn't get dark till after 10pm, we can squeeze a lot into a day ...
