I have just been 'up pub' and had 2 pints of cider in fronts of an open fire with the locals and their dogs! Yes, the dogs were there too enjoying the warmth of the fire! Still a little groggy from a family party the previous night, I wake up at 5u30 in the morning.... After checking at least 20 times whether I packed my passport, I put enough money on my bankcards and more, I am ready to go at 6u00, programming the GPS for my first destination: Car Ferry Terminal, Calais. ... full and feeling good we started making our way to Warmfield where our friends live. Still sunny and warm, a nice drive as well. Arrived here about 4.30pm. Spend a lovely evening chatting and enjoying a couple of reds and a beer. Very very nice and it rounded off a good day.
This morning it is pouring with rain but we are hopeful that it will ease off later on in the day and will try to go for a drive. If not, it does not matter, we will enjoy each others company.
