    Failed fossil hunting

A travel blog entry by ryan.kaiser on Oct 01, 2014

Today we went to Robin Hoods bay and walked along the beach looking for. Fossils but didn't find any. Then we went and had lunch , then went back to the beach to have another look. But we didn't find anything in that part of the bay either. We looked in rock pools and found hermit crabs. Then I built a sandcastle with Isabella, who is only 3. Then mum went to Sainsburys, which is a supermarket, whilst I finished nano virus on plague ...

    Grouse hunting

A travel blog entry by ryan.kaiser on Sep 30, 2014

Today we went on a 5 hour walk from where we are staying up onto the top of the moors. There were lots of grouse and we were hunting them with rocks, but we didn't get any, we just found feathers. There were lots of stone butts where the actual hunters hide when they are shooting the grouse.mum thought the view was better than the finest view in ...

It was big and when they were taking the windows out one of the leaders got crushed when a turret fell on ...

And the answer is a resounding "NO"! But this was enough time for us and we will be more than happy to come back again some day.

Can I also just add here that the west coast of the United Kingdom would have to have some of the most glorious scenery! Whether it was down in Cornwall, in Wales or in Scotland, it is breathtakingly beautiful!

    One of the benefits ...

Today we went on a fossils tour with a palaeontologist, it's our only plan for a week. At the tour we got to find our own fossils that know one has seen yet except me, I found 13 fossils but 3 of them the Palaeontologist gave to me. The fossils we found are mostly ammonites and fossilised squid but we also ...
