Day 17

Today the boys were most excited as they were going to the Technick museum. I was less keen but decided to go for a bit and then leave them be and go shopping. The museum was huge and had everything from boats, planes and trains to a section on suitcase manufacturing and weaving. The only downside was that the information for the majority of the exhibits was only in German.

... to have. A bit more walking found ourselves at the start of a very big and well looked after park. What we found inside however was very awesome. The park had been built around an old Flak Towers (big towers built to house anti-aircraft weaponry). Apparently the towers were built too well to destroy so they were partly dismantled and then were built up around top cover them somewhat after the war.
