... and stone beast. Steve and I also went to a really cool gig. We saw Flying Lotus play at Terminal 5. The venue itself was cool; had like multiple levels of balconies. Reminded me of the video clip from Thunderstruck by AC/DC, with all the prisoners in the cell. Booked tickets to Ground Zero. Went to gallery and memorial, very moving.
Walked across Brooklyn Bridge, shopping uptown
Went to Rock of Ages, excellent show, dinner and home

Caught train to Boston, staying at the Midtown Hotel in Back Bay
Got in about 4pm so quiet night, couple of beers then dinner at Mexican restaurant
... was fun to watch them for a couple minutes.
It was then time to go to our play. We walked down to Madison Square Gardens, where How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Musical! was playing. The set and costumes were adorable, looking like they came right out of the Dr. Seuss book itself. ... then it is probably worth seeing, but I wouldn't make the effort especially. It is near the "High Line" (refer following section on things you should do) so maybe add it to that list if you must. It is basically just a single floor of small restaurants and cookie sellers with nowhere near enough places to sit and eat whatever you bought. There are maybe 3 crafty like shops that are too expensive for normal people anyway. ...
