... day in NYC is quite something to experience. The St. Paddies day parade is actually older than the USA itself. This year is the 254 year.
The New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the oldest and proudest Irish tradition, marching for the first time more than 250 years ago, on March 17, 1762 – fourteen years before the Declaration of Independence.

Thanks to our great friend Gloria for making our experience happen.

Letterman, Soho, Dumplings

... still and not overly excited.... so we both started dropping off.... then elbowing each other to stay awake..... then getting the giggles because we were falling asleep in Letterman!! After the Letterman saga, where we felt lucky that we hadnt been caught falling asleep....we had an early tea at a yummy Italian place near the hotel and debated what to do next... stay in NY? Washington? Drive to Boston? So many choices.... ...

... decision on the lip sticks while I was waiting. I went up to the carad for dkny area and there actually wasn't that many people there but to get a photo with her you had to buy a $70 beanie that I didn't particularly like so I just had to get on my toes and zoom in to get some photos. I was making my way out of bloomys when this man sweet talked me into trying some Laura mercer products, damn it. It was funny ...
