I would like to subtitle this story 'The Trials of a Novice New Yorker'. Today I visited a branch of the Met called The Cloisters. Admission to this museum is free during the same week as your visit to the Met. The Cloisters is a collection of medieval relics and reconstructed architecture from Europe.
