Today we caught the bus from Eceabat to Selçuk, to see Ephesus. The bus trip was much longer than either of us expected and ended up taking about eight hours. That doesn't really leave much time to do anything else today. Bus the bus trip was quiet enjoyable, mostly because of the surprisingly excellent service. I could have sworn that i was …

Cocoa Puffs for breakfast in Turkey? You bet! The ANZ Guesthouse (Australia & New Zealand) where we are staying has earned first place for the breakfast menu out of all the places we have been so far. In addition to Cocoa Puffs we are also feasting on fresh fruit salad, watermelon, cantaloupe (yuck), and the normal Turkish spread. Interesting …

We grabbed a quick breakfast composed of bread from the street vendor and juice from a convenience store and picked our seats on the first train I have ever ridden. Uncle Albert and I dropped our …

After a very long day on a broken down bus, I was desperate for a place to crash. Based on referral from a couple of Aussies on the bus, I couldn't grab the room fast enough. Harry and his mom are wonderful. Comfortable room with A/C, free internet, wifi, breakfast included and they really make you feel like you are at home. Highly recommend it.
