I went and found a "hotel" which is actually a bar with wifi and got some research done. Reached out to some job ads and house share listings. I also signed up for an ...

... We walked back to our hotel and laid down for what we thought would be a short nap. Slept through the late afternoon and woke up at 9:30 pm. We figured out our wifi and enjoyed a swim, steam shower, sauna and whirlpool in the beautiful hotel spa which we had to ourselves. We'll have to get our days and nights figured out eventually.
