15 Earl Place, Kings Cross Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
We've done so much since we left Singapore! We flew into Sydney at 6.30am on sunday and Shane was there waiting for us! It felt like we were at home having someone greet us as we stepped off the plane - it was so nice! (and even better considering it was Shane!) We got in Brees very small car - so small only staceys bag fitted in the boot, mine was on the back seat, and we set off for Wollongong!! we slept for most of the morning in front of their huge tv - until Bree got home and we went to ...
Sydney, Australia hellizacWe flew to Syndey and my donkey friends nate and adam from home met me here. We butted around syndey for a few days checking out the major sites, aqaurium, bluffs, zoo, etc. After this weekend my parents went back to US and the three of us did a little backpacking up the gold coast.
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia shooter1746We arrived in Sydney after a short (5hr) flight full of expectations on this famous city. We got on the free shuttle bus into the city. Big mistake!! What should have been a 30 minute journey turned into 2hrs as we had to go to all these random drop-offs and pick-ups along the way. Anyway, we arrived at the City Resort Hostel in Woolloomoo looking forward to getting some food and then relaxing. As soon as we walked through the door, I knew that pre-booking 7 nights had been a huge mistake!! T...

... were still nice. At lunch, among other things we discussed, we wondered if there was any Prussian love poetry. Paul suggested, “Provide me an heir or die trying,” might be one. Must look it up.
Took the 2:45pm ferry back to the city, then returned to the hotel for a respite. Felt so good to put our feet up. Went out for a late coffee at Darling Harbour – then Paul and the kids went to see a movie, while I tried to get rid of a headache.
... that is enough. So, now meet my other half - Roelof . He will be the driver and winch operator, and not much more!
Our adventure choice for the next period of time has been to ditch the Sydney jobs, rent our place out, invest in Landcruiser Troopy plus better camp gear, and buggar off to explore our own backyard (aka, Australia) for 6 months – it could be rushed, it’s a big place. How can we ensure that our adventure ...

Sydney, Australia suziebabe007Business Class – Seat 13A – Airbus A380
Arriving at the airport two hours prior to the scheduled departure worked out well. I was checked in within a minute after accessing the empty J (or busines) class queues, which were one of four distinct categories for passenger check-in, the other categories being First ...
... aboard our overnight 12 hour long coach ride down to Melbourne. We watched the film Australia and managed to sleep a bit despite the freezing cold air con. We arrived in Melbourne at 6am, but due to daylight saving hours it was actually 5am and it was cold waiting outside the Kmart for Jeremy's dad to pick us up. He soon arrived looking just like Jez, just a bit more tanned with less hair! We were shown to our room, and slept for 3 hours in comfy beds ...
