    ... grolilla grabbed the huge rope in his enclosuer and wacked it against the glass window scaring everyone and making everyone jump!! We even saw two grown elephants mate! Right in front of our eyes! It was crazy, funny and we got it all on film! The zoo was fun and we were able to see lots of animals and birds inside! Which was much warmer! After the zoo we went to the aquarium, which was about 3 levels high and was fairly good. ...

    first food mistake today - mark wanted a sausage - we thought wed interpreted the sign properly and he was going to sample a real German sausage .. No, sorry it was sausage soup. Close. He enjoyed it though and went back for the sausage.

    Today we visited the Berlin Olympic Stadium. This is a giant facility that rivals some of the largest stadiums I have seen. This is the same stadium where Jesse Owens earned four gold medals in 1936. We saw the balcony designed for Hitler, the field, the VIP area, the team locker room and other areas.
