Uniquely Singapore
I call this trip as UJEA's escapade; UJEA corresponds to the first letter of the group's first names which include Ully, Janice, Elmer and me, Andy. Singapore (SG) is truly a unique place in Asia to travail. A 'metropolis' paradise which is seemingly very kind to tourists and travelers. The SG trip commenced with the exploration of the city's MRT …
Chinese New Year in Singapore !
We arrived in Singapore and caught the train to our hostel which was booked for two nights only. We found the hostel quite easily as it was really very very close to the train station. We checked into a private room for 3 people (2 bunk beds). The room was spacious and nice compared to where we stayed in Malaysia anyway... :D
And so our …
Let the lies begin!
We caught our flight to Singapore on the morning of the 15th December with the intention of crossing the border and travelling a little around Malaysia. We chilled at the hostel in Sydney in the morning doing some laundry and reading my book. Just before we left we headed back into the city to buy some ugg boots. Unfortunately I could not find any …

I think I am still on Australia time because I keep waking really early in the morning, but Conor is shattered and sleeping through until the late morning. It gives me time in the morning to have a coffee, read a few chapters and catch up on the blogs that I have been neglecting!
Once Conor was up we headed back into the city and jumped on the …
We are Cultured Folk!
After a terrible night's sleep of worry and torment we decided to try forget about it, as we have no control over what will happen. What will be, will be! I said a prayer and asked that God would do whatever he thinks will be best. We chilled out all day, well as best as we could! Conor checked the flight status religiously every hour and I tried …

When we found the place, which was very close to the train station, we had to walk up some stairs and couldn't find the person to check us in. After awhile, after checkin in, we got to our room which was a private room for 3 people (2 bunk beds), it was quite spacious, clean looking and we had two pillows and a duvet to one person. Bathrooms were ok but the ones with a toilet was ..... extra small ! The internet was really bad, it just didn't work very well at all. Free breakfast so that was good and the room was nice :D The lady who's in charge was very nice and helpful I thought :-)
