Sightseeing on a tight schedule

We didn't even bother setting the alarm to get up today. We figured the front desk would just call and wake us up when our bags arrived if we didn’t wake up first. We did wake up before we got a call though, so went down to the hotel restaurant to have breakfast that was included with our room rate. We’d also realised that we’d...

Our Last Day in Asia, ready for a change?

After Erica fell asleep last night I was still doing jobs on the computer until well after 12 (most of which are things she hasn't finished off herself). Anyway I then realised that while I had been busy the Lady had.... well not so then in a room that only fitted a double bed and half a person standing started the hunt for an alarm clock. In th...

The Perfect Hosts

We woke up in a much better frame of mind and ready and prepared for our day of sightseeing around Singapore as we had made a feeble attempt at it so far. When we found the place, which was very close to the train station, we had to walk up some stairs and couldn't find the person to check us in. After awhile, after checkin in, we got to our room which was a private room for 3 people (2 bunk beds), it was quite spacious, clean looking and we had two pillows and a duvet to one person. Bathrooms were ok but the ones with a toilet was ..... extra small ! The internet was really bad, it just didn't work very well at all. Free breakfast so that was good and the room was nice :D The lady who's in charge was very nice and helpful I thought :-)
