... Park zoo: small. Conveniently had a tropical birds enclosure which was nice and warm. Kind of cool because I had seen some of the birds in the wild and learnt a bit more about them. They had sea lions. I think the galapagos has ruined sea lions in zoos and aquariums for me. It just seems mean now. Bought a knit jumper so I could look slightly presentable I'd we went out. ... Central and it is a very impressive building with tons of people going through there on a daily basis.
On my way back from Grand Central, I went to the Public Library - very cool.
But my favourite spot was definitely Bryant Park.
It's right behind the public library and for Christmas they put an ice rink there. They had some Christmas stalls there too, almost like a proper German Christmas market but not quite. ...

... all up. And it was well worth it. It didn't take long to warm up again. And then we headed to Central Park. Maddie needed to tick walking through central park with a bagel and a coffee of her 50 things to do list, so we grabbed the bagel and coffee on our way. I tried a pretzel instead of the bagel. ... we werent too sure of the hot dogs bit of a weird texture! Times Square was chaotic so was a quick walk through. Headed along to Grand Central Station next then along to Chrysler building for a look up to it. Popped into Hersheys World and Dylans Candy World also - managed to withold from purchasing anything suprisingly! Also passed the Plaza hotel on our walk. ... at the race track, racing go-karts. I had never done this before and found a competitive streak i didn't know i possessed! It was great fun. Georgia and Ashton went on a little water ride with a little hill and a tunnel which they loved. There was a swing that went straight up then round and round which Georgia, Conrad and Emma rode.
