As the title already says it - We love Venice Beach, so after our stay in San Fran we were dying to get back to the sun, beach and our beloved Venice Beach Hostel. Surprisingly, the staff could remember us and we even got checked in the same room like the previous stay. :) Our time in Venice was 'packed' with hanging out, beach days and just …

We took a detour to see the Observatory, which is just beautiful, and the tunnel to ToonLand from Who Framed Roger Rabbit but after that short distraction we got down to business and followed google maps to the top of the world, Hollywood and beyond! Google took us on a crazy ride. It said that sign was only a mile away and once we got off the road, it led us on ...

... off there and wondered around the pier and shops. It was just as you'd imagine, you couldn't escape the smell of frying onions and candy floss. It was pretty quiet with just a few people riding the riggety rides - you wouldn't have caught Dais or I on them just in case - you know to minimise risk of harm. So we kept it safe and walked around the edge admiring the views out onto the ocean. Santa Monica is quite a fashionable place to be but it was ...
