Wet and cold again today. We walk down to the harbour, then along the harbour to the Maritime Museum and the Opera House. By this time the rain is really pouring down and we seek shelter and coffee in a Shopping Centre. As we have a travel pass we decide to stay out of the rain and cold by travelling on the trams for a while. However the first trip …

To Gothenburg - Day 7

A travel blog entry by sydandval

Alarm goes off at 06:30 and we finalise packing before going to breakfast at 07:00. The continental breakfast selection is good with varieties of bread, rolls, croissants, jam, ham, cheese, cereals of various sorts, tea, coffee, etc. We eat quite well, for us, then collect bags and set off for the station which is only 5 minutes walk away. The Saga …

We got into our hostel in Göteborg (or Gothenburg in English, although neither spellings will really help you since they say it something like 'yooterbor' but anyway...) quite late at night, having taken a tram up from the central train station. Muito bom hostel, muito bem organizado, e pessoas simpáticas. Chegamos sem hotel em Gotemburgo e chegamos nesse hostel com volta das 11:40pm e o recepcionista foi super simpático e nos acomodou na sauna do hostel.
