Zara had some tears about going all the way to the top in the lift but once we were up there all was fine. Well the weather wasn't the greatest as it had just started to lightly rain and on one side it was so windy.
After descending we wandered through the christmas markets until 5pm when the lights came on the tower, sparkling up like a christmas ...

astounding. The use of gold in this Chateau is all over the ceilings and frames

      First Thoughts:

Only arrived today and made it to my hostel but judging by subway and the food it is much like America. The metro is just like NYC in style and grunginess. I also went to Subway sandwiches and they had ranch sauce! They don't have ranch anywhere in Asia so this is a huge deal for me.

Amazing hostel so far. It fits over 500 people and when I walked in they had live music in the attached restaurant. I'm in an 8 person room but ...

... Guide book. He walked with me through the market where I picked up a bargain pair of five euro sandals. We then went in search of a Post Office so he could withdrawal money before we found somewhere for breakfast. We were unsuccessful in our search for the Post Office and by this point I was fed up with wasting my little precious time and he came on the metro with me to wear the Catacombs, under ground graves, were situated and we parted.
