        Today we had a bit of a sleep in as we've been so tired after nearly five weeks of travelling. We then found a lovely cafe and had crepes for brunch - I had Nutella while Alex had jam.         ... whipped potatoes, Laguiole cheese and Creme fraiche, were all delicious.

        Our first full day and, although we were keen to be out sightseeing, we slept in. We tried the Paris Bike rental from the Hotel to Musee D'Orsey. The bikes are rideable in a good for heavy commuter bike way but we had to wait to get a lock up spot for them. It was a very busy museum with Louvre closed on Tuesdays.

        ... impressed, as this was his first time seeing it. But it's still a little light at 10, which is why you've gotta wait for 11. That's when it's magical. So we waited, watched some dancing and observed what looked like a magazine shoot for a prom issue. Just before 11 we found our perfect spot and waited. And man is it worth the wait!
