Lunced on the banks of the duero in Ribera del Deuro. All meat lunch with slim pickings for vegetarians. Drove to Segovia and the Acueducto Hotel is right und er the Roman aqueduct.

Segovia was another city where I tried unsuccessfully to rent a bike for a day, so instead I did my own mini-hike on the outskirts of the town for a few hours and had a romantic picnic for one looking back on the city and the Alcazar Palace.
