I don't think I spent enough time outside the cities to really feel anything, apart from the need to go out and socialise... To conclude our S. America trip we had 2 days in Santiago. After the nightmare journey from Bolivia, we decided to step things up a bit and go premium class. The 24 hour jouney was actually quite relaxing with fully flat beds! Santiago, another really great city. Lots of bars, shopping and great restaurants. Goodbye S. America!

Flight to Santiago was good... got my first look at New Zealand on the way there. The plane stopped in Auckland and I had a 5 hour stop over... looks amazing... landing in Santiago was even better though.. my first taste of South America :) From the plane I could see the Andes just to my left, they were beautiful... that is until they were lost ...
