Four days of nothing

... of good places to stay. Ended up here with a couple of guys who'd also been in the hostel in Maputo.

To be honest there really isn't a lot to write here. I intended to stay just a night or two before heading further north, but in the end stayed four days and spent the days sat by the pool or on the beach. Very lazy, but looking back this is the first time I've stayed in the same place for more than two nights in over a month, so its good to relax for a few days.

Greetings from Cambine Mozambique

The Church service here was something to behold. Today is celebrated in Mozambique as Thanksgiving Day, ...

... but wait, there was a glitch! Somehow, there was a mis-measurement, and a couple of the poles had to be repositioned after the concrete was poured. With a lot of brute muscle power, the poles were finally placed correctly. It actually turned out to be a good stopping place for the weekend, letting the concrete cure until we resume on Monday. At the seminary, Rev. Brown concluded his two-day seminar. Those of us who attended today's ...

... trees and plenty of patches of hopeful lawn surround the chalets and small pool with staff tending to the gardens and nursing the newer lawn. It helped of course that they had cheaper rates for camping, but what sealed it was the dorm with double and single bed which beat Fatima's camping price. So here we are alone in our own room sharing a much appreciated double bed draped with mosquito netting. A few meters ...
