... overlooking the city. It is also a history museum, but having been through it, I felt it wasn't worth the time or money. So we simply took some photos and took in the view for a few minutes before driving on, through the streets of the city with all its colorful views. We drove to the post office bought and quickly wrote some postcards, stamped and mailed them. By then it was time to start toward the airport where I wanted to arrive at 1:00 for our 3:00 ...

... trip, as it has been lovely being able to share it with our family and friends :)

Apart from getting engaged, we’ve had a fantastic few weeks saying see you later to Sydney, with special catch ups with friends, lots of family time, and a final hoorah at the Rocksia hotel on Saturday. Thank you again to everyone who came – we had a fab day, and can’t wait to catch up with everyone on our return.

... over to the Rosebank Mall and went to the internet cafe. Unfortunately Mozambique is not very developed and I couldn't find a backpackers to book online. I called and emailed multiple hostels and just kept getting told that they would email a confirmation. ... it as quite a an intense experience. He described the neighborhood we were in as safe and I did see people jogging and even walking around at night. Not confident of my surroundings, I didn't leave the gate at night, although my car did safely reside on the street (alone) without issue both nights.

I couldn't sleep past 2am and thus spent the 3 hours until 5am staring at the ceiling. At 5 I got ready and by 6 I was in my Polo on the way north to try some recommended hiking ...
