... to eat grasshoppers! There were also a lot of fun to watch.

The roads were dirt and bumpy. We did have a canvas roof over our heads, but picture taking was ideal as the driver would move the jeep so that everyone would have a chance for pictures. We rode around for two hours looking for animals. We did stop by and see a huge spider web. Must have been at least 8 feet across. The driver got out ...

A Wilderness area is land uninhabited or occupied by man, there are no roads into it, the only access is on foot, and that is what we will be doing. Starting tomorrow we are going on a three day wilderness walk in the bush! With 33000 hectares of uninhabited land, Hluhuluwi-iMfolozi is Big 5 game ...

... could see a Goliath heron and two grey herons on a nearby reedbed and many large crocodiles basking in the sun. Walking along the shoreline we watched a pod of hippos on the opposite bank, being very observant in case there were crocs hidden in the reeds. Crocs can move very fast! We were picked up at 7 o'clock for the evening game drive. This took part in the Western Shores part of iSimangeliso Wetland Park. The bush is lit by the headlights ...
