... br> Asked at desk how to get to food places. Very complex but found my way there and wow!! What a place!! Like a shopping centre with all food places, facades to look like a streetscape and the ceiling painted as a sky, big fountain in centre with statue of David.
Dinner at Tribes. Ordered 200g fillet (only $12!). Chakalaka sauce, meali pap (like polenta), fried onion rings, butternut pumpkin mash and spinach with a glass of wine. Very nice, ...

... greener there. Brunch at Centenary centre. More Zebra and a foal. At airstrip camera track there was a herd of Impala that leapt in the air as they ran away and the Warthogs ran after them with their tails in the air like flags. Philip was worried about Buffalo a little way off at one of the cameras. Stopped at Boma briefly to say goodbye to dogs. Saw Lion on sandbar at river, a long way off in distance. Back to Camp at 2pm. Left Boma 7pm after scanning got nothing for Moses and Rhyder. Back to camp ...

... project is staying tonight and it's her birthday today. She will help Philip and us with location of camera traps tomorrow. Left 3.30, we thought it was 3 so were ready early. Dropped cleaner back home. Hardly any animals, 3 Wildebeest lying down. Breeze icy cold. Clouds cleared and now only on horizon. Went to Boma. All good 3 dogs still in there. Both runs open. Found out Lisa not coming now. More muffins for us. Meeting Lisa at 6 at Mpila, thought ...

Up at 5, still no solar power. Shower by torchlight!!! Left at 6 (Philip had been sure Axel had told him we usually left at 4.30!) Jungle oats as usual and cup of tea. Left at 6. Went to near Bhejane hide but signal very weak for Aladdin and nothing for Raqui. Went back to camp and picked up dead Impala. I got gloves and an extra polar fleece, cold this morning. Went to boma and fed dogs, young hyena ...
