... to have a rest only to discover a flat tyre on our car. The hotel handyman made a quick job of changing it for us and so we took it to town to the tyre shop to get fixed. Believe it or not it only cost R30 ($3). Had a good look around the busy township. Very African, lively and busy. Bought wine but forgot the water. This is such a delight to see them in large numbers and around almost every corner. One of the greatest things though is that there are baby Rhinos, so important for the survival of this species and the adults have some of the biggest horns I have ever seen. They must have a good anti-poaching team! What an achievement! As ...

... first location, Hluhuluwi-iMfolozi Game Reserve. It is South Africa's oldest game park and has the largest Wilderness area of any of the parks. A Wilderness area is land uninhabited or occupied by man, there are no roads into it, the only access is on foot, and that is what we will be doing. Starting tomorrow we are going on a three day wilderness walk in the bush! With 33000 hectares of uninhabited land, Hluhuluwi-iMfolozi is Big 5 game ...
