... the same path twice, well, not within the space of a few months anyway, and each adventure is just as new to him as it is to us. The bush changes daily. One of Ricks specialities is tracking, which with so few wilderness areas left, is becoming a rare skill. His senses are so heightened, he hears the faintest noise, a twig snap, a breeze rustling the leaves of a bush as the wind changes direction. The chameleon was about six inches long with a tongue the same length! It was exactly the same shade of green as the bush, we were amazed how the guide saw it! A jackal was skulking in the long grass, unfortunately quite a way away so not a very good view (but a sighting nonetheless!) The guide stopped the vehicle ...

... which he questioned how he'd do that (as if he didn't have one). Then he found one and the battery died and the second battery only lasted 3 nail holes. So on hold until tomorrow after battery charges. He said he'd been doing what he had been told to do. Reading, relaxing though wind was annoying. Another guy was here waiting for someone, chatted a bit, another person in ute but they didn't get out. Made chocolate muffins (packet mix). Lisa ...
