    ... and I would play with diamond stones and create sparks - shafiq and i spent so much time between out selves playing - no wonder we were so close when we were kids - we didnt really spend much time with other kids - i look back at those times with so much fondness these days.

    ... bought our tickets for the friendly between Vasco and Fluminense. Once inside the stadium we found we were sat in the middle of the Vasco fans, very fortunate as Nowley had bought (and was now wearing) a Vasco shirt outside. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic with lots of chanting and banners and everyone leaping out of their seats when the ball got near to the goal.     ... So don't let the stories put you off. For me it was the best city stop we made, the place was buzzing. For a start it is a beautiful city. The two main beaches Copacabana and Ipanema join at right angles, but that is not the end of it.
