Today we went out to the Out of Africa wildlife park in Camp Verde. It is a wildlife sanctuary for all kind of animals who have been rescued from zoos, circuses and domestic situations. They mainly house tigers and lions but also have bears, wolves, giraffes, zebras and various reptiles. The park is built on the philosophy that animals and humans can form emotional bonds by people being in tune with the animals' natural instincts and by caring for them lovingly. ...

Next day the four of us played golf at Palm Valley in Goodyear, AZ. Nice course, but we kinda ran out of steam (kinda hot out), so after the 1st nine we play "best ball" from the best drive. That helped my score a lot!

Thursday and Friday of that week George drove us all over the place to site see as much as possible...Some of which was "memory lane" for Juanita and I. ...

... and bathrooms were conveniently located (also important when you have small ones with you who were drinking Slurpee's!). The seats were comfortable and roomy.

Back to the hotel to enjoy another afternoon at the water park. We had to get new wrist bands for entry, but the front desk was most helpful. Finding chairs to rest our towels was much more difficult. Finally we found one chair and we dumped all our stuff there. I ...

... thing we've done! The house sold the first day it went on the market, thanks to our amazing real estate agent, Kevin Sheehan, who posted professional pictures. The new owners saw the pictures that morning, came to see the house and made an offer by noon. That was done. The next job was to liquidate. Our friends, Patsy and Shenen from Matorelli Madness Estate Sales did a fantastic job of inventorying and selling everything ...

... We made an impromptu chili, that I still don't believe was nearly spicy enough to be called anything besides veggie stew. Of course everyone disagreed. Either way it was nice to feed people one last time. I had woken up that day thinking I would play a game again but I was toast by the time everything was done. I wanted to hit the bookstore one more time but I was wiped out and I had to skip it. My next morning would begin at 3 AM. ...
