... During that weekend, we ate very well, there were a lot of fruits and nuts, and the meals Barry's parents cooked for us were plentiful. I also tasted the best 炒面 (Chao Mian, or fried noodles) I've ever had. When I thought the weekend couldn't get any better, we were served Chinese tea, and it was definitely the greatest tasting tea I've ever tasted.
I hope I will keep seeing and discovering new things to share with you,

We got back and had a lovely evening with Silvie at home as she had cooked a lovely Morroccan curry and couscous.

We are both in Ningbo for the rest of the week visiting all three of our centres.
... Carmel, James and Emily (Economics, Business, English and English teachers) from Ningbo Zhenhai A Level centre plus John and a couple of Lithuanian female friends of theirs. We went to the Eudora Bar and then onto C for dancing. These were in Laouwai Town, which is the really buzzy area in Ningbo where there are lots of clubs and bars. We had a lovely evening, lots of fun, and good company.
... s birthday, so Eric and Barry surprised him at a KTV, which is a very popular place in China where you can rent rooms to do Karaoke. There was cake and snacks and we just sang songs in Chinese and English all night long. This night was definitely some of the most fun I had since I arrived in China, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with Barry and the gang
Many more great experiences are surely in store for me and I look forward to sharing them.
... trip to Tianyi Square, finding all sorts of curios hidden amongst the chain shops we recognise - the Japanese version of Poundland was there in force, as was it's cheaper imitation version. We also booked a trip to Suzhou and Hangzhou for a couple of weekends time, making the most of finishing lectures for the week at 12 on a Thursday to get a nearly 4 day weekend away.
