We meet Bernard and get lost

The Only Way Is Up

(Starting from the herbal garden) The contact lens have (probably) expired and my tear duct was producing pus-like substance that probably produced foul odour only known to small flies, who kept crowding my eyes like there were some sort of candies. We bought our first Sri Lankan meal and ate it with our hands under a tree by the river (which was blocked by a wall so I could only see my styrofoam takeaway and nothing else). Back in Hikka for a party
We stayed a couple of days back in Hikka because we loved it so much! We had also met some people that we wanted to see again before we left - Welsh Simon and West Country Will!
We went to a 'Valentine Party' at Funky De Bar (not romantic in the least) which was great fun and a young English lads played some cracking house tunes! It went on til about 4am!

Another Asian Beach Experience...
... got a good deal, I was soon to find out I was paying well above the going rate. Bargaining was soon to play an integral role in my Sri Lankan experience, particularly when finding accommodation. The toilet didn't work, there was no hot water and electricity was seeming a rare commodity, but anyhow, the hosts were quite friendly.
