    ... of the landscape including Hong Kong's Airport on it's man made Island. Can't believe we will be there in less than 48 hours. The mountain up to the Ngong Ping Plateau was stunning. Aqua blue water, leafy forests of bamboo and the sparkling Zhujang River Estuary glimmered in the distance. It took a near 15 minutes for the cable car to reach it's destination.     ... buildings were all dirty and the humidity was unbearable, every time we walked into an air conditioned store I didn't want to leave it. We walked for about two hours and my legs were dying to get back to the hotel to go for a swim.     ... you, though, this winter season was unusually cold and changeable. At one point during this year’s Winter Olympics, the temperature in subtropical Hong Kong was cooler than Sochi. Once last month, temperatures in the city dropped from 21.5 C (70.7 F) to 7.9 C (46.2 C) in less than 24 hours.

    But hail itself, while rare in recent years, isn’t actually that unusual for Hong Kong. In fact, 1983 was a banner year for hail storms.

    Libby again had Salmon Tartare, and Barry an assiette de charcuterie.

    After lunch we walked back to the Conrad, and prepared for a 1/2 hour shoulder and neck massage that Libby had arranged earlier.
    This was a heavenly half hour, and took all the tension from our neck and shoulder.

    Dinner that evening was to be at a restaurant - "The Principal", located in Star Street a short distance from the Conrad.

I went through my presentation speaking as clearly and slowly as I could (as Lei had stressed to do), while the students were whisper quiet despite being told to contribute with questions during the presentation.
