    ... on the way.

On my final day in Hong Kong, I walked back to the ICC building & caught the fast elevator to the observation deck called Sky 100, which is 393 metres above sea level. The building is actually 490 metres high, which would be why the sister building across the harbour looks taller from Sky 100. The window cleaners were hanging on a platform outside Sky 100 while I was there. It was a clearer day than the day before, so I got quite good views ...

Let me start off by saying that our Hong Kong gang made the cover of US Squash. Not bad for a couple of Canucks. Changing over in Hong Kong so had a sample of the cuisine with some noodle dishes. The views are a bit rubbish from the airport as you can only see 500 yards and then it's just smog. Finland was just a flying visit but the towns looked fab from the plane with a golden glow to everything so would love to go back and explore sometime. Heading off for the final leg of the flights in an hour or so. Can't ...

Flight 1... Shanghai to Hong Kong (2 hours) Since James bought me the watch in Shanghai for my amazing seamless planning of the trip, things seem to be going a little awry. Travelling west on the Shanghai subway to Longsheng Road (as directed by our hotel reception) and away from the airport to the east of the city we surface expecting to find the Maglev (magnetic levitation) train station for the fastest passenger train in ...
