Mum and I went for a walk in the morning by the river Dee. It is right next to Grandmas house. We saw blackberries (yum), dogs and birds. there was a man standing in the river fishing. We found a horse chestnut tree and collected conkers that had fallen on the ground. Mum said they were quite small because it's still to early for the best conkers.

I got there, and almost immediately took my headphones out,
and took in the gorgeous starkness of the whole place. It felt so wild, and
full of history…not what you would think when there was a town on the other
side of the hill. But there were rolling hill, jagged rocks and sweeping
grasses. It was beautiful.
