It was time to start the journey home so we headed across to the airport and checked in before heading to the virgin lounge. We grabbed some dinner and drinks, wrote up the blog and soon enough it was time to board. Today started out well. The weather was improving but a stop-over in Kirkwall was going to be needed instead of heading to Sumburgh where rain and low cloud base were forecast.
