... and regular, and the singing of the Women's Liturgical Choir was uplifting and beautiful. However, the space itself in the church never ceased to draw our attention up and up. I was surprised that my neck didn't hurt after straining to see as much of the walls and the ceiling as I could.

... I just kept myself on Esther (2.5 year-old) duty the whole time.

While there weren't really any "wow" features of the museum, the kids kept busy the entire time we were there. Even Isaac (14) found exhibits to interact with for almost the entire time. The day turned on beautiful weather with a clear sky and a nip in the air. We were able to walk out to the end of the breakwater on the left and the one on the right which has two light sources on it. The waves were breaking on the lighthouse breakwater and the surf rolled into the shore. A person in a kayak was out in the waves enjoying the ride and later two people on stand-up jet skis came and rode the waves jumping high in the air ...

... of the back roads back to South Bend and drove through areas that were predominantly Amish farms. One of the cutest things I saw was a small buggy with 3 small children being pulled by an equally small horse. Miniature of what we had seen in town.

Back in town, we chatted with Madge and then enjoyed a lovely meal of roast stuffed boneless pork and vegetables followed by a piece of her delicious apple pie. More chatting before retiring to bed.

... it but looked quite lovely with the autumn leaves on the canyon floor. Walked to the Lodge and Hotel which is a big place. It looks to be a similar set up to O'Reilly's at the Lamington Plateau but on a much bigger scale. Walked back along part of the St Louis Canyon walk which was so poorly maintained and marked that others before us had bush bashed their way through the long grass and over boggy areas.
