Norwich is, if honest, a little isolated. There seems to be no quick way to get to the city either by road or rail and the journey just seems far longer than it really should (some of the scenery en-route is not that inspiring either) however when you do get there what a delightful city it is!

We were met by our good friends Tim, Georgie and Tom at Norwich station at 11.15 (after leaving Derby at 07.53) to go dragon hunting. There are in total 84 GoGoDragons ...

We had a bit of a sleep in this morning. The only stipulation was to eat breakfast by 9:30. At 10:30 we piled into the van and headed to the beach in Caister to do a beach workout. Four sprints and then a full rest until our heart rate was fully recovered. Then another ...

... other side.

For lunch, Richard and Pat had bought Cromer crab and Samphire which is a seaweed. Lunch was crab sandwiches with Samphire salad. Seafood just isn't appealing to me yet, so I made a grill cheese with ketchup and Pat had made rice pudding with fresh strawberries from her garden.

We hopped in the van and drove to Norwich, about 45 minutes away. First stop was the East Anglia Squash and Racquet ...

... cold, there were very few people on the beach. It was about 15 degrees and very windy. As we walked up the beach, we could see the odd seal playing in the surf relatively close. Eventually we came upon a group of beached seals, resting and sunning themselves. This beach was magnificent. Massive and wide. Will and Sven decided it was definitely worth a dip, not sure what the temperature was, but cold, maybe 60 F.

Pat had once again packed a lunch ...
