... that you imagine Africa will have and it's everywhere. Added to this dirtiness is of course the litter, it's everywhere and nobody seems bothered. They have a love of plastic bags and in general all things plastic here which is really very alarming. I've discovered a place near the zoo where I can get tasty noodles (closest I've come to a nice local dish) for 4 cedi ($1.40). ... that were attending the academy that the volunteer program is a part of. They were also walking to the volunteer house so we walked with them. I was introduced to the team and they were all really lovely- it was very weird to finally meet everyone after speaking to them over the phone and via email for so long.
