With sad little faces we got on the boat from Railey, spent a night in Ao Nang then headed to Koh Yao Noi. Lovely little island, untouristy and unspoiled. Rented a scooter and zoomed about the island finding deserted little beaches and stuff. Had a lovely time with Kitty and met her mental friends over a few drinks. Ed has arrived, rather successfully, he just popped up out of nowhere one day. So we have been showing him the fantastic Chinese markets, and Oonagh and Ed went up the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur (tallest twin towers in the world since you know what). Thursday 29th May SAM: We got up early, packed all our stuff and got down to the highlands main bus depot for 07:45 ready to leave the Cameron Highlands, and the cold, behind us. Having dragged ourselves away from the International Dumpling Festival, we left for KL. This was our first experience of 'Asian Time'. 27th Nov We arrived in KL and walked from the Puduraya Bus station to our Guesthouse in Chinatown. The place looked grotty from the road and the guesthouse was on from the 2nd storey upwards to the roof. From Phuket we were headed for Kuala Lumpar. We decided that as it was only a short walk from our hostel we would walk to the bus station where we would get a local bus to the airport. We did not however anticipate the weather and ended up walking in a torrential downpour!

I've now been gone for 10 days so I thought it was about time to write my first real update.
