Although the reception is certainly unique with its wall mounted aquariums, this is not a great hostel. Hidden as you walk down the main street, you have to walk up a car-park style set of stair before getting to the guesthouse. Beds are small, and you have to pay for the internet (the password was 'Connection' when I was there)

      Small but cool

The entrance may put you off but the reception area up the stairs is beautiful. The room is small but was your own. The small fan keeps you cool enough through the night and the toilets are clean.

After leaving the buzzing of the insects in natural jungle I landed in the concrete jungle with a different type of buzz all together. It was another long day of two buses, but blessed with new episodes of Game of Thrones and being able to sleep pretty much anywhere it was a smooth ride. Well except this one moment when I woke to a little girl …

I visited KL a year ago, and I it here a lot.

This time I visited The Batu Caves. I'd mistakenly thought that this place was named, ' the Buddha Caves', until a another traveler mentioned that they were going there. So until I set out to go there I assumed these were a bunch of caves filled with Buddha statues. I'd just come from Burma, so …

... reminds me of Gabriele Salvatores' "Nirvana". Chinatown is totally crowded but so amazing. On Friday I've been to the cinema plaza@Times Square Shopping Centre at the last show, around midnight and to see this huge 10 storey building deserted - all the shops were closed, lights down - after I had seen it in the day-time, full of people buying silly things, was worth the ...
