    ... graveyard and was getting soaked once again when I met Brian Forshaw and his wife. Brian is a retired teacher and a hobby historian - he saved me so much hassle by letting me know the grave inscriptions are all listed in the library.     ... met me and let me use their office for the day to mosey through the archives Dominic had searched out - it was incredible!! He had photocopied some things for me and then showed me the two special books, one from John Walton with a record of debts owed to him and money he owed. The second book is a will of Christopher Walton and then details of how his will was enacted by the Executors of the Will, his brother John Walton and his brother in law William Robinson.

    ... Museum is closed for the winter! That is gutting!!! How dare they close my access to family information just because it's only light for 5 hours a day!!!

    Wednesday, the wind has dropped, the sun is out, the sky is blue.

    We catch the bus to Richmond again, with the intention of taking a walk along the river, and treating ourselves to lunch.
