    My next destination was Yangshou. On the first afternoon I went to a Chinese cookery class. I really enjoyed it as it was quite hands on and I actually felt like I learnt something! I have the recipes written down so I will have to test out my skills when I return. I have missed cooking whilst away so it was a great opportunity to get myself back in the kitchen!

    ... Yu Long river. This tour was on a real bamboo boat, and because no motors are used on the river the water is really clean! Apparently this river is where love songs are sung from boys to girls and then vice versa. Then a girl throws a silk bow to the boy and if the boy catches it they are going out.
