    ... down the mountain in hopes of reaching the river but no luck! We eat his mini mangos and bananas, enjoying the view. 4 kids had climbed some rocks at the very top, we were at the end of the steps, but might as well climb the last part. So over the rocks we climb, hands gripping on to grooves and pulling ourselves over gaps. What a rush! Right on top it'd a 360 view of the Li river. It's a pity it's over cast, but oh well.     ... this seem to be full of piles of new or used bricks. Even the top floor of the hotel next to ours, which is still under construction, is dominated by loose piles of bricks. Clearly there is no point stacking bricks. On the way from Yangshuo we could see vast numbers of Limestone Karst mountains. I hope that we can find a way to get right out amongst them.     We rolled into Yangshou for about half 12. The landscape here is impressive. It is either flat or there are steep mountainous fingers shooting up towards the sky. I've been told they are the result of tectonic plate movement and fissures in the earths crust. They are a lot more impressive than the three (or should that be two?) gorges.
