    ... as the stage. There were around 600 performers involved in the production. An impressive start as the surrounding mountains were lit up to provide the backdrop. Lots of colourful lighting, dramatic music and beautifully dressed performers.     ... taken almost 25 hours, and only would have been about $30 cheaper than my plane ticket. Which leads me to my next piece of advice for traveling around China: unless you plan to use a train as a hotel room for the night, it's a good idea to check airfares before you book train tickets.
