My seriously broken iphone just doesn’t come close to doing this place justice. I waited for about an hour before heading back down. Chinese people HATE the rain so I knew I wouldn’t be seeing Sam.

It never happened to us that someone tried to invite us into their restaurant, because here, the Chinese tourists are clearly the target. That night, we ended up eating at an American Grill that was practically empty ...

The next day we woke up to rain however decided that we would still go ahead with our planned bike ride. Thankfully the rain made it a little cooler. We hired some bikes and set off, soon making our way to ride along the Yulong River. Yet again the scenery was stunning and we passed through small traditional villages and watched the locals working in the rice paddies. We had planned to come back by one of the many bamboo rafts that sail up and down the river but ...
