Day 104

Up early (5am!) then headed in a taxi to the bus stop to catch our bus. Not a bad journey (4 hours) but we arrived into Byron Bay to a slight drizzle (although it was still quite hot!). Couldnt check in again as it was too early so got ourselves brunch at The Balcony Cafe. Lovely it was too! It didn't look real! After our jungle experience ...

... our eyes open but don't spot any, not our day for wildlife today. Although the sign says they are eastern brown snakes, very poisonous so not such a bad thing. We nip past the Woolworth's for a iced coffee treat and head back for dinner and a relax. Tonight there is a huge storm! It pours down and the thunder is everywhere. The lightning lights the whole tent as if its day. Sleep is slow but the tent holds up, good old Bessie she holds out ...
