Desperate Housewife

... the horrible pain in my side again. I obviously knew I wasn't dying this time but for crying out loud can't a girl eat her favourite thing once in a while? I'm off out tonight with some work people for dinner. Bruce is leaving back for England and my manager is off on a six week holiday to Canada so it's our last little thing to do before they all set off. Then I'm going to meet Daisy out after and we are going to cause some trouble - not too much though. Ero Tergum ...

... would turn the slides on (that would be something I'd do) and also worried that I'd slip. Let's just say I wished someone had turned on the slide... Alas, I slipped. I slipped onto my backside and not only made a loud thud and scream but I slid into Channing who ended up on my lap and we slid slowly a small way down the slide because there wasn't enough water to take us all the way to the end. ... 10 came and went and there was no bus in sight. I asked the man who was selling tickets if I'd missed it if it had been and gone early but he had no recollection of this - bloody useless. It got to 2:15 and knowing that I had to be there ready to teach in half an hour I couldn't wait any longer. I had to jump in a taxi. Absolutely steaming (literally and metaphorically) I endured the lengthy and costly taxi ride to work. It cost me almost $30. I'm ...

Haast Pass

Late start. Put down to the laundry. Had to dry our clothes three separate times with the tumble dryer until they were almost dry. Think we might of over filled it some what. On the road we headed out of Franz Joseph on route 6 heading towards Haast and eventually onwards to Wanaka. Driving through the alpine terrain a cross between Lake District and the alps. With mouth watering, eye straining scenery which ...
