A bit of a trek over Toome hill took us to the National Museum which talked about the old traditions of Estonia and the variations of them across the country. ... which I remember seeing as a kid. The camera man basically swam around a beaver pond, seeing how the little rodents lived. It was pretty cool if I recall correctly.
Once darkness had completely descended, we hiked through the night, back to the warmth of the cabin. There we gorged ourselves on more moose boar and cheese, not to mention some nice Argentinean red wine. I insisted we ate some vegetables as well. It was good.
So, once we were finished we put candles in the pumpkins and lit them. Everyone found out how fun and easy carving pumpkins was.
After the party I roasted the seeds and my roommates and I ate them all week. We also made bread with the pumpkin guts. It turned out well. We ate two pans of it in only a couple days. We froze the rest of the pumpkin, so if anyone has food suggestions, let us know!
