... as there had been some changes. I shut my eyes (not asleep-I was just tired and didn't want to have to deal with all the 'happy new year' greetings that were about to start and a few minutes later I hear my name being called on the loud speaker. They went through (the wrong) gates only a few metres behind me!!!! The fort over history, has stood the test of time, acting as a strong hold, for spanish against the portugese, british, and even the filipino revolutionaries in the 19th century. The fort now houses old memorablia, representing the spanish as well as the history of Philippines over the last 6 centuries..
