        ... fashioned a candle out of a plastic straw and placed it unconvincingly in the cake that had now more turned into a fruit stew. On a serious note, the heavens did open up for us that day and the rain was very limited so I have to thank whoever sorted that because the days either side were nothing that desirable.         ... owned and very recently reopened Cafe del Manglar was a quarter mile down a bumpy dark road along the beach, and as seems often to be the case, we were the only customers. Not much English was spoken but the food was good and our business seemed to be appreciated. Towards the end of our meal, the extended family was gathering for dinner and one of the recent arrivals came over to practice his very good English.

        ... ages! On the way we were singing cowboy songs,we also saw some wildlife like beautiful birds! My horse was called Barrhhrit'ho she was very pretty and could sometimes get a bit mad if some one took her place in line but we could go two by two sometimes and we were all laughing and having cowboy jokes!
