        ... hour to kill and no signs of life in the bar/restaurant.

        Our other stop was the Cueva del Indio, which filled the 90 minutes nicely due to the number of tourists queueing for the boat through the cave system under the karst, and very majestic it was too.

        On Sunday we booked a shared taxi to Playa Giron on the Bay of Pigs for Thursday morning - much more convenient than a bus at the crack of dawn half way and then a taxi.

        ... huevos rancheros and more. In the afternoon we went to the Beatles trivia. I had my cool Beatles T-shirt on and was pretty confident. First we had to wait for the Disney trivia to end - amazing how well those people knew their Disney songs and could sing along to all of them.         ... a huge tree just outside. Dozens of horses were pastured nearby, as it is a breeding ranch. Dinner was really good, with especially memorable fresh, hot bread with sweet butter. I spent the afternoon in the rocking chair on the porch, reading “What Everyone Needs to Know about Cuba” and in the evening we figured out how to make the TV work and watched an early 80s movie with Meryl Streep and Robert DeNiro called Falling in Love. I watch an 81 year old cuban plough the field with two ox inbetween rain shows, whilst puffing on a vinales cigar, dont worry mum im not hooked, I dont really see the attraction and the world treasures cuban cigars.         ... the pier we had to wait for half an hour before the ferry left for Cayo Levisa, a small island with the only housing being a small hotel. At about eleven o'clock our group of about 30 tourists set food on the island and everyone was amazed: A beautiful long stretch of white sand beach, crystal clear water and a lot of sun.
